HORSE POWER 3
BR on one of her first few outings working the stock,we just brought her on slowly, as she had to have time to develope her muscles, she gets quite excited about working the stock, and if allowed, will go and gather the stock for you if she is grazing in the same field. She is good at driving, and checking, and is coming along really well, and is a real trier, One thing she does excel at is trail riding, she is exelent, and calm and one to be relied on. As you can see in the photo below she is a bit wider behind, and a couple of months training has started to show, as her stamina also builds as well as her body.
One thing BR likes, is to keep up with the bike, and has no problem with revving engines.
Syd self loading!.. and not a whip in sight! All of our horses are very people orientated, so they enjoy any excuse to come and do something. It is really handy to be able to train the youngsters to load at any time, we like to do all of them about once every three months at least, just so that it stays fresh in thier minds.
I like them to really enjoy thier training and Syd knows now to go in himself and move his hind quarters around, so he is standing tidy, and he waiting for me to ask him to come out.
