Out of the horses we currently have here for stock work, SIS is the most suited to me, i really like them fast and serious about thier work, and boy can she move,
We clicked from day one, and she will be back into work after weaning, she will be featured a lot more later this year.
You really have to be on the ball with Sis, as she is so fast and responsive, i always came back with a smile on my face after using her, she is like driving a racing car, and is like Poppy, she cant get enough work.
I like them to stand nice and quiet for as long as needed, patience is a must, as sometimes i have to stand on junctions on the roads, waiting for stock to come up the road, and this is a good opportunity for them to learn to stand for a while.
Another thing i like to do is to train them to walk and trot along side the bike (also push bikes) without a worry, as sometimes we have to travel along side each other for quite a distance.
