For those people who secure thier foals early, we ALWAYS take photos weekly so you can follow thier progress upto weaning and thier first lessons as an individual, We pride ourselves in rearing our youngsters, so there are no suprises when you have your new purchase, they are always in perfect condition and eating well and weaned properly.

“ Newoak Nomination”
Oscar is a well bred pony (Ardenhall Missoni X Fenbourne Mayflower). He is a 9 year old liver chestnut Gelding who has no stable vices, and is very good to catch, clip, shoe and hack (alone or in company). He has a great temperament and is obedient.
Oscar has been placed nearly every time out in many different competitions:
· 60+% scores in unaffiliated dressage, competing in Preliminary 4,7,10 and 18. He is definitely a BYRDS prospect.
· Unaffiliated Show Jumping, usually competing in 2’3”/6” classes, where he has had many double-clears and is fast against the clock. He has done “Combined Training” where he finished 2nd in the Prelim4+ 2’3” and 1st Prelim10+2’6”).
· Cross-country, never pulling, or refusing, and was placed on his first time over a 2’3” course.
· Showing classes; mainly 138cm show pony though he has done welsh part-bred and part-bred arab and novice working hunter pony. He has won locally and placed at county level(Royal Welsh being placed 5th). He qualified for the S.W.P.A championship last year for the “Open Junior Ridden”, which he won. He has qualified again this year for the novice working hunter pony.
When he isn’t competing, he has attended many pony club rallies (including the Christmas rally, when he walked quietly around dressed as a Christmas tree!), and has been on a pleasure ride, never jogging or making any fuss.
Sadly, Oscar has been outgrown, and will be terribly missed. He is looking for a loving, caring home where he won’t be wasted as he has too much talent.
